Our client is a leading International Telecommunication Company who is looking for an experienced "Sales Manager" to work in their Colombo office immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To achieve sales, revenue targets by identifying and securing business opportunities from prospective customers.
- To identify and develop new business opportunities, develop a portfolio of key customers in major local and multinational, and Chinese companies.
- To establish, develop and maintain effective business relationships with nominated accounts and develop long-term partnerships with them.
- To formulate a Sales & Marketing Strategy and assist Head of Dept. to deploy effective marketing events to our target customers.
- To review & analyze the market situation and report to senior management periodically.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Telecom Engineering.
- Minimum 4-5 years sales experience in the IT & Telecom industry with a proven sales track record.
- China Market Experience will be preferable.
- Knowledgeable in the telecom industry.
- Sound knowledge in selling IPLC, IEPL, MPLS IPVPN, IP-related products, and ICT Solutions/Services such as IDC and Call Centre businesses.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to influence your stakeholders.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. (highly advantageous)
- Fluency in English is an absolute must for this role.
- Ability to enhance, tailor, and drive sales process across an assigned region while always in line with company strategy.
