One of our prestigious Clients' who is a renowned International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) based in Colombo, is looking for an experienced "Finance Manager" to join their team immediately.
# SALARY: Rs. 220,000 (Plus other benefits & allowances.)
# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further course of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Age between 30 - 45 years.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is a must.
- Full or part qualification from CIMA / ACCA.
- Minimum 2-3 years' of experience in a similar capacity.
- Working experience with an INGO is a must.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a must.
- Proficient in basic IT skills. (Email, Internet, MS-Office, Etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to follow confidentiality guidelines.
- Ability to maintain accurate accounts and records at all times.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to efficiently multitask when necessary.
- Team player with a pleasing personality.
