One of our prestigious Clients' who is into "Facility & Franchise Services" is looking for "Events Coordinators" to work in their Colombo office immediately.
# SALARY - Rs. 40,000
# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizing Trade Shows. (Exhibitions)
- Handling All Promotional Activities.
- Coordinate social media event publicity on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Work with the graphic design team to design fliers, invitation material, and event programs.
- Liaise with a public relations agency to publicize an event.
- Answer all incoming group and event inquiries/opportunities.
- Coordinate and work closely with tenants to ensure the successful execution of campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Monitor the production, delivery, and installation of advertising and promotions collateral in support of project deadlines.
- Manage, monitor and update all digital marketing communication channels, ensuring accurate and current information.
- Ensure that expenditures stay within the agreed budget.
- Meet measurable targets and revenue goals. (Individual and Team)
- Maintain the records of event activities and do a post-event summary.
- Maintain a working relationship with vendors and venue managers.
- Have excellent product knowledge of function space, audio-visual equipment, capacities, inventory, and menus.
- Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by management related to the current role.
# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Passed GCE A/L exams. Diploma in Event Management would be an advantage.
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in the field of Marketing / Event Coordinating.
- Budgeting skills - the ability to stick to the client’s budget.
- Experience in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing would be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English. (and local languages)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal relationships, and time management skills.
