Our client is a leading "Software Products & Services" company based in the USA, is looking for experienced "Senior Engineers - BI & Data Analytics" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop analytics solutions giving utmost attention to detail and qualify in terms of coding / development best practices and end-to-end testing.
- Present developed solutions in the form of KTs / usage documentation, etc., to successfully hand over developed reports / dashboards to business and product users.
- Participate in the entire agile development lifecycle employed by the team and adhere to all agile processes / ceremonies of the analytics team to support the smooth delivery of all assigned work.
- Monitor and guide other junior analytics engineers in the team on industry standards / tools / best practices in analytics.
- Own Data Analytics and Insights Scrum Teams and be responsible for the quality and timely deliveries.
- Revisit processes and practices periodically to make necessary improvements to improve quality and efficiencies based on data / metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- BSc in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field. (MSc in Data Analytics, Data Science or related field will be an advantage.)
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 2+ years of experience in building Analytics application using Tableau / Power BI.
- Solid experience in integrating / querying data from multiple platforms / tools including but not limited to SQL sources, JSON, XML, CSV, REST APIs, etc.
- Hands on experience in Python.
- Hands-on-experience in Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Data Factories will be a key advantage.
- Prior experience and/or a solid understanding in working with a Dimensional Data Warehouse including Dims, Facts and Star Schemas will be beneficial.
- Experience developing ETL, ELT and data Warehousing solutions.
- Good understanding of database technologies including RDBMS, DW/DL, Cloud and NoSQL.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willingness to learn.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong presentation skills, as well as a business building mindset, would be key advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients overseas as required.
- Team player with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
