One of our prestigious clients in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced "Safety / EHS Coordinator" to join them immediately.

# RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Safety / EHS Coordinator is responsible for safety management system compliance checks and overall safety regulations in the company.

  • Conducting Food Safety Inspections.
  • Conducts camp inspection for Community Services.
  • Conducts pre-qualification screening and formal evaluation for bidding.
  • Prepares monthly KPI report.
  • Conducts Safety Management System (SMS) compliance checks.
  • Prepares and presents weekly safety highlights.
  • Consolidates weekly housing inspection reports.
  • Monitors the prevailing working conditions and ensures safe working practices.
  • Conducts regular Quarterly Safety Inspection. (QSI)
  • Inspection of tools and equipment being used in all sites to ensure that they conform to Safety Standards
  • Conducts accident investigation.
  • Gives advice to management to ensure safety complaints.
  • Make regular daily and monthly reports on the Safety and Health aspects of the company.
  • Monitor prevailing working conditions and ensure safe working practices.
  • Conducts safety orientation / induction seminars for the new employees.
  • Conducts internal and external safety audits.
  • Responsible for the preparation of training modules and proper awareness training regarding Health & Safety.
  • Supervising workers and giving proper instructions regarding safety matters.
  • Prepare Risk Assessment and recommending effective safety measures based on actual working conditions for prevention of possible accidents that may occur.
  • Conducting Safety Audit, Hazard Identification, Risk Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Job Safety Analysis.

# REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, safety management, or similar.
  • At least 2 years experience as an EHS coordinator.
  • Preferably with prior work experience in Saudi Aramco.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001 (QMS), 14001 (EMS), 18001 (OHSAS), and Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Certificates & training required:
    • NEBOSH, HAZOP, HAZMAT, Fire Safety, ISO/QMS/IMS, First Aid, Accident Investigation, and OSHA
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and training abilities.
  • Team player with a pleasing personality.
