One of our clients in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced "Head of Maintenance" to join them immediately.
# SALARY: SAR 6000 - 10,000 (Avg. Rs. 320,000 - 530,000)
# RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following tasks need to be performed on daily basis:
- Checking the equipment status by calling the foreman early in the morning (working or breakdown).
- Appoint and deploy the mechanical team to the required location on a priority based.
- In case of a major breakdown visit the locations, analyze the issue, and instruct the mechanic to fix it on-site if it is possible to do so.
- By getting the exact issue of equipment to rectify, approach for particular spare parts and after receiving the spare parts verify with the purchasers.
- Maintain the servicing record of equipment/vehicle and analyze the breakdown frequency.
- Record keeping of each equipment/vehicle location-based availability.
- Performed routine maintenance and repairs, focusing on preventative scheduled maintenance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostic, and any other repairs as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to all dump trucks, equipment, and light vehicles.
- Train assistant mechanics to do routine maintenance and minor repairs on sites only.
- Perform routine maintenance work on a fleet of heavy equipment/dump trucks/trailer heads.
- Assign mechanics for emergency jobs and visit the location where your involvement required.
- Should have good knowledge of opening and fixing the diesel and petrol engine, including heavy equipment (CAT, SHANTUI, BOMAG), light vehicles and trucks (MAN, MERCEDES, TOYOTA, NISSAN & VOLVO).
- Able to teach and train assistant mechanics.
- Make sure the minor spare parts are always in stock and coordinate with the storekeeper.
- Handling a team consist of certain numbers of mechanics, flew fleet & storekeeper.
# REQUIREMENTS:
- Age 30+ (Male)
- Degree/Diploma in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the relevant field. (Gulf experience preferred)
- Must have a country license. (Any gulf license, valid/expired preferred)
- Ready to work in remote areas, willing to relocate.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. (Bilingual preferred, English-Arabic)
- Teamworking and communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Good attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
